The use of argumentation theory in analyzing literary works is relatively a new phenomenon. This blog attempts to bring together research papers and opinions looking at literary works from an argumentative perspective. 

In their seminal works, Le Traité de l'argumentation (with Lucie Olbrechts-Tytesa) and Uses of Argument, both published respectively in 1958, Chaïm Perelman emphasize a remarkable spate of interest in argumentation studies.
